Goldman has reportedly just paid $1.6 million for a three-storey beach-front pad in the $42 million Bucasia Beach Resort and Spa development in north Queensland. Found an article with the lead singer of OneRepublic, a guy apparently named Ryan Tedder:

I totally and completely fail as a college kid. Doesn't bother me, it really doesn't. Especially if you consider the amount of sanitary waste which ends up in our wheelie bins after shark week.

Oh my god. I am srsly dying. This is day 3 of my fucking diet. I want to kill myself. Of course all these weird things keep happening. Example: I was walking through UQ, which I never even do anymore, and the university catering truck suddenly pulls up and this guy starts unloading big trays of donuts and mini sandwiches and coffee mugs. First of all, WTF... they have a caterer? ...And he has his own truck?? Secondly, I don't even LIKE finger food. Still though, I was hungry and I would have got in on some of that chip action.

Also, I had a weird conversation with a guy from highschool tonight:

ARGH, Race day is on Wednesday... I told some people I'd go, but I would just like to officially re-tract that statement, for the following reasons:
-Cost of ticket: $25
-Cost of taxi: $20-ish per person (in my opinion)
-Cost of drinks: $70ish, a little more than I would spend on a night out
-Cost of food: $10...ish, plus it tastes like pralines and dick
-Cost of putting up with a crowd of wankers ...well, it doesn’t cost anything technically, but I’m considering future electro-shock therapy as a direct result: $1000+

Other things to factor in:

-Sun burn
-Heat
-I hate everyone
-Lines (I mean the amount of time spent waiting for the bathroom, the bar, the food stand, etc...)
-It takes over an hour to get to the venue, and then another hour to come home.

We had a weird family gathering thing yesterday. We never usually do that. My relatives don't like me, lollll.
